The olive oil trail

High-quality olive oil is made in the Priorat, born of old olive trees with robust roots and broad, twisting trunks, combed branch by branch every autumn. These olive trees, typical of the local landscape, speak to you of another Priorat, one of dry stone retaining walls, water tanks, caves and patches of woods between the fields and the Montsant. A Mediterranean landscape filled with slow-growing, hardy trees bearing their green and black fruit which gives life to the olive oil of the Priorat, the perfect match for the area’s most traditional dishes.
